They are high quality and always hand made. I really don't like the machine made cues since they have the tendency to feel like machine made. As a person grows older, they continue pursuing happiness much as they did in their youth. They find, sometimes surprisingly, that, as they mature, the target the target of their pursuit moves. That movement is the result of maturity. Let's consider how I see certain matters and how I cope with the resulting differences of my views vis-à-vis those of others.

• I see the world through the eyes of a traditional Christian.  My perspective tells me that Pres. Obama's moral leadership of the American people is not just bad, it is out-and-out immoral. Many fundamentalist and evangelical Christians, and at least one modern Gnostic sect, share my perspective.
• Someone with the perspective of a modern secularist tends to see Pres. Obama's moral leadership as righteous.
• Someone with a perspective like that of many modern Protestant Christians tends to see Pres. Obama's moral leadership as somewhere between the two extremes; they are generally accepting of it.

As I grow older, I remain a strong proponent of the traditional Christian perspective; however, the sharp edges of my judgments about people with differing views tend to be less sharp; worn down by the soothing sands of time. Now I think more in terms of an old American Indian proverb I have heard, remembered, and repeated all my life: Don't judge any man until you have walked two moons in his moccasins.

Two moons equals about two months. But the proverb is not about time. It is about provoking you to consider the other person's life experiences: the challenges they have faced and overcome, the challenges they have faced and failed to overcome, and all those other things that go to make up a life in this vale of tears we live in. And, so, I become happier and more at peace with my fellowman as I mature.

Vale of tears? Yes, I believe we are put on this mortal coil to face a lifelong trial to see how we fare in this marathon test that determines our ability to enjoy the just rewards of a life that is on-balance well-meaning and selfless, or one that is hostile and filled with self-regard.

I love creating wedding invitations. It's one of my favorite things to design. It can be difficult to create this type of design work because usually working with a bride can be very difficult. I think this is because not only are they going through a very stressful time since they are picking out so many different things, trying to make so many decisions and working really hard to get everything together for their wedding, but also because they are not used to doing this type of work. They may not understand what type of direction a designer needs. Usually I only want to know what type of style they would like, what type of colors they are using in their wedding, and also if they have a particular theme that they are going for. I like to know if they want something traditional, or if they would prefer something modern. They may even decide that they would like a tropical wedding invitations. I like creating these types of invitations because I like picking out different types of paper to use, I like helping people out, and I also like that these projects are always different. It does not become monotonous, because you are always coming up with new types of design whenever it comes to wedding invitations.

According the the 4th District court of appeals in Wisconsin, police don't need a warrant to track cars with GPS.  The court said that the police were able to track car with GPS because the devices were able to provide information about the location of  car withing public space and that when the vehicle went someplace private, like a parking structure or a personal garage, that someone observing the car could be able to tell the exact same information.  Because the tracking was deemed to resemble physical surveillance so closely, the court ruled that police could use GPS as an information gathering technique like they would be able to use physical surveillance - without a warrant.

The court also urge the legislature to make laws to regulate the way that police could use GPS tracking technology because of the privacy implications it could have, but for now they gave their stamp of approval to the police in using this type of technique to track suspects.

If you're a musician wanting to add some microphones to your home studio, then a condenser microphone is probably what you want.  Condenser microphones are more to studio conditions then a live situation.  Most (but not all) condenser microphones are less rugged than your typical dynamic microphone.  This tradeoff for ruggedness is an increase in sensitivity and dynamic range.  If you want to capture the nuances of a vocal performance or a fingerstyle guitar piece then a condenser microphone will get teh job done.  Besides being more sensitive they have a larger diaphragm than most dynamic microphones and because of this they can handle  a wider frequency range.  Just be aware that a condenser microphone needs to be powered (called phantom power).  Most mixers will provide the power, make sure yours will before you buy that condenser mic.  If your mixer doesn't have phantom power then you can also use a USB condenser microphone.

Wood can rot if not properly treated and protected.

When you think of all the beauty and elegance that wood patio covers provide both in terms of shade and ambiance, it is hard to think of not using it.  However, there are some things to consider when choosing wood for your covered patio.  First of all, you should determine where it is going to be situated in your yard.  If there is water that pools in that area, you either have a drainage issue or some type of sprinkler system sprays a fair amount of water in that area.  This can cause rotting of your wood and premature aging and possible necessary replacement.

Likewise, sun exposure can prematurely wear on your patio cover.  If it is stained and water sealed, you are in a better position than most, but you should still consider this dilemma.  Intense sun, like in the desert southwest, can cause your wood to dry out, splinter and weaken.  It may cause your structure to be weakened and dangerous over time.  Just a couple things to think about.

So, how does one deal with these problems of water issues?  The answer is simple, but the solution will not make you happy.  Because the last thing that you want to think about is more work when it comes to your patio, maintenance is  a dirty word.  This is exactly what we are talking about.  Like all things that naturally age and wear over time, your patio cover is no different.  Proper maintenance may be as easy as watching for insect damage and as involved as re-sealing and staining your entire structure.  This is only very labor intensive if you have a lot of damage that requires much sanding or other prep work prior to the staining job itself.

You could also eliminate some of this issue by getting a metal roof for your patio.  You can get them in copper, bronze, tin and steel and they will make your patio not only look even more elegant, but they last decades with little to no maintenance.  These metals will patina over time with exposure to the elements and add a wonderful element of charm to your patio space.
