The government has established guidelines for acceptable amounts of BPA in containers that handle food or drink, but these guidelines are established using a normal size adult as a baseline. As babies are so much smaller than adults, they can accidentally receive far more than the allowable amount of BPA if they are fed with polycarbonate bottles. If you are thinking about replacing your futon cover, but don’t want to spend the money, then there are several tricks that you can do to change the look of your futon without having to spend as much money as a futon cover cost.  One trick that some people have used is to buy a sheet instead of a real futon cover.  This could easily change the look of your futon as long as the sheet is nice.  Some people have bought silk sheets for just this purpose since the silk is shiny and very different.  Other people buy wool sheets or thicker cotton sheets.  A nice sheet cost about half or even a third of the price of a nice futon cover.

Another way to easily change the cover is just to buy a throw blanket to put over the futon mattress.  As long as the throw blanket is big enough, it will cover almost all of the futon.  By covering the futon in the blanket, the entire look of the futon will then be changed.  If you have a red futon and you throw a green blanket over it, then the red will just peep out a little and the futon will look mostly green.  Adding some simple throw pillows on the side will also help to do the same thing.  The throw pillows should match the blanket.  Then, your entire futon will look different without ever having to buy a futon cover.

This is a question I hear from most of my customers. And it really depends, but your hot tub should be checked at least once a week to ensure that all your chemicals are at the right levels. And when I say once a week I mean take it to a hot tub dealer or spa retailer and get it tested professionally. As an owner you should check your hot tubs chemicals at least once every other day by using test strips. You only need to check to make sure you pH, alkalinity and which ever sanitizer you use is at the proper levels. From there you will probably add shock and your sanitizer at least once a week again depending on what kind you use. Make sure to consult your hot tub dealer because adding any chemicals to your spa.
