I think we can safely say that Warren Buffet is greatest investor that the world has ever known.  After all, he is a billionaire and is continually on the Forbes list of richest people.  So undoubtedly, he's a pretty smart guy.  Still, a man with his brains still couldn't figure out the complex financial investment vehicles that created the credit crunch which plunged the world in a global recession.  It just goes to show that if you don't understand something, you don't invest in it.  Just like Buffett side stepped the tech crunch in the past, he also refused to invest in these complex debt packages that were on sale.  And we all know what happens when someone refuses to pay up:  things go bankrupt and foreclose.  We should all be as smart as Buffet and we can be if we followed Warren Buffet's investment advice.
