The Versatile Armoire Wardrobe

One of the most functional types of pine wardrobes you can put in your bedroom is an armoire. Not only do they provide you with a considerable amount of storage for your clothes and any excess bedding, but you could also use them as an entertainment center thanks to the large amount of space in the upper cabinet area.

This type of wardrobe could comfortably used for a TV that would give you an added bonus of being able to close the doors when it’s not in use, effectively hiding its presence. Some of these types of armoires, such as pine wardrobes give you enough room to store more electronic equipment such as a cable box, DVD and perhaps your gaming consoles.

When you use a cabinet such as an armoire it gives you the stylish appeal of a decorative cabinet while also providing the functionality of a large storage wardrobe. These types of pieces of furniture help to add to the character and charm of your home by reusing pieces for other purposes.

Do you have a clear glass vase at home? You know the one you ere given as a gift and have no idea what to do with it. It will probably sit in the cupboard for a while and then in the yard sale or worse. Did you know there are numerous ways to give a glass vase a new lease of life. You can fill it with something, anything really, and it does not have to include flowers! If you have a particular interest of hobby then you can use that as the basis of items to put in your vase. Items like golf balls if golfing is your thing, or keys if you collect them, maybe marbles or beads. For a purely decorative vase try using colored sand in layers to make it more effective. As I said just about anything can be put in a glass vase to make it more interesting.

Origin of Christmas Trees

Let me start out with something many will think is way too early, I would like to wish everybody a merry Christmas!

Second, let me ask you a question, what do you know of the origin of the Christmas tree?

Well, the earliest we can trace the tradition of a decorated pine tree, is to Germany in 1521. Hmm, I wonder what kind of Christmas Tree Decorations Guide they had available back then? Wait, never mind. After that, the tradition spread throughout the German speaking countries, and later the world.

In the United States, the German influence is evident as well. While many towns lay claim to being the first to erect a decorated tree, they all have a thing in common, and that is a German connection.

So, BMWs, great beers, and Christmas trees, I think I would like to give out a thank you, Germany!
