The truth is that all of these are empty promises. The secrets they promise to teach you are nothing of the kind. There are no hidden tactics. The so-called gurus are nothing but charlatans offering empty dreams in return for your hard-earned cash. If you want to succeed then you need to take action each and every day.

There's an old Chinese saying that every journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step. The important thing to remember is that the journey also ends with a single step. And inbetween those two steps are tens of thousands of other single steps. All you have to do to reach your goal is to continue putting one foot in front of the other.

Do you want to lose 20 pounds? Then eat healthily and do some exercise every day. Stop coming up with excuses and just do it. Buy resistance bands and do some resistance training three times a week. Add to that some jogging, running, cycling, or swimming. Get off the bus a stop early and walk the rest of the way. Why do so many people complain about their lives and yet do nothing about it? It's hard to tell why but life seems to have steamrolled these people into the ground. Here is what life is like for most people. Wake up, go to work, come home too tired to do anything including play with their kids and spouse. Eat a quick dinner, then attempt to relax around the house for a short amount of time before going to sleep and doing the same thing the next day. Most of the time relaxing involves watching television or using the computer. So much time is being wasted. People often complain that there isn't enough time during the day but it's complete bull. Everyone has the same amount of time and yet some people can produce tremendous amounts and others can't seem to get anything done. Why is that?

It's all about your attitude. If you believe you can't do something, you won't. If you think you have no time, you don't. Also known as the self fulfilling prophecy. Whatever you believe, it will happen because you accepted your belief without questioning it and thusly didn't even try. Time management can be hard when you work all the time but if you really found something important, you would make time for it. What would happen if your child was in a car accident? Wouldn't you drop everything to see if they were ok? All of a sudden, you stop doing unimportant things right away, don't you?

What's really important to you? Do you have any dreams that you want to achieve? Are you fulfilling your life's passion? If not, then why? No time? If it was really that important to you, then make time. Do something about it. It's not the right time? Nonsense. It will never be the right time. You will always be busy with something. Don't wish for it and then do nothing, because the opportunity will never come. If your life is over, will you have regrets for not doing what you've always wanted? If so, its your own fault.
Stop making excuses for why you can't do something. There is "no can't" in life. There is only "I choose not to." Many people complain that the reason they don't go after their dreams and get a better life for themselves is because they say that they don't have time, money, they're too old, they're too tired, the government is bringing me down, etc. That's not true at all. It's all about the mindset. The only reason you're not succeeding is because you're not even trying. You put up your own mental roadblocks and excuses and create the life that you want. If you aren't doing anything to improve your life, your life is being changed by itself, most likely to the negative. If you want to change it, then take action right now!
