A Little About The Tattoo Machine
There are some people who want to have tattoos in some of their body parts. The most common site for tattoo is the deltoid area. Others would prefer to have their tattoos placed at their back, chest, and at the calf area and these tattoos are created by what we know of as a tattoo machine.
Tattoos are markings made by the insertion of indelible ink to the dermis part of the skin. This changes the pigment for aesthetic purposes. Humans consider tattoos are considered as type of body decorative, as for animals, they serve the purpose for identification and branding. Tattoo is indeed a wide world used accessory.
With the use of a tattoo machine, tattoos are made easier and conventional to create. It is a handheld device making it very easy for tattoo artists to manipulate it. The modern machines usually use electromagnetic coils which moves the carcass bars up and down. Needles are then connected to these bars which are barred and this needle system is the one that pushes through the epidermis reaching into the dermis. Sometimes, artists call this machine as tattoo guns in alternative, but this is never really always the case. Professionals do not like the term ‘gun’ for their equipment. Rather, they prefer to hear this machine being called as ‘iron’.
If we go back to history, the precursor of what we have now as a tattoo maker comes in the form of an electric pen. Years later, someone discovered that this electric pen, originally used for duplication, can be improvised and then used to inject indelible ink into the skin. As time flies by, it has been known that the specific device can be implanted with a tube and a needle system where an ink reservoir is provided. Thus, the birth of our tattoo machines now.
