Dog Collars Are More Than A Place To Hang Dog Tags
Dog collars are required for dogs in most towns and cities because you have to have them on a leash, but there are a few different types of dog collar, a few that most people haven't even thought of as actually existing. Others like the dog shock collar are ones that people consider inhumane, but if they thought about the true purpose they would quickly understand that it is more help than harm, and is actually not painful to the animal at all. Instead of being a painful jolt, the dog shock collars merely give the animal a wake up call and let them know that they are in the wrong. It feels no different than a bite from an alpha dog in the pack if they were still wild animals. It may seem cruel, but it is actually in the dogs nature to deal with sensations such as this, even if they were the alpha dog of the pack.
