Gas Camping Lantern
Camping lanterns are an essential piece of camping equipment, there are many styles available. Gas camping lanterns are the traditional model of lantern, and are popular amongst campers. They have many advantages and disadvantages, and for the right camper, they are a perfect choice.
Advantages
- Gas lanterns give off the most amount of light and shine brighter than any other model.
- They shine for a very long time, as gas is very efficient to burn.
- You can use the same fuel, gas, as you use with other essential camping equipment pieces.
Disadvantages
- They heat up, and there can be a risk of burning yourself. If you have kids then this is an important safety consideration.
- There is an open flame. This also proves to be a safety risk especially when there are children or pets around.
Gas lanterns are a great option for camping, however you need to take into account the advantages and disadvantages before buying.
