When popular rappers come to mind, most people tend to think of Jay-Z, Tupac, Notorious B.I.G. and Diddy. They are not necessarily the best of all time, but most people have argued that they are some of the greatest to ever make music in any genre. Everyone has a different musical style, and even within most categories of music there are going to be different and unique sounds. It also seems to be obvious that people who are from the north tend to like artists that are also from the north because they have a better chance of going to their shows, meeting them, and interacting with their music.
In a similar fashion, people from the south tend to really stand behind their local southern artists. One artist that many people look up to is Gucci Mane because he always manages to make music that the people thoroughly enjoy. As soon as word starts spreading around that one particular artist is making good music, more people are going to listen carefully and formulate their own opinions. If they like the voice, rhymes, and beats from a new artist, they are very likely to become a fan. The reason that most people have argued that Gucci Mane is a rap legend is because he has brought a completely unique style of music to the hip hop culture.
In comparison to other artists, most do not sound anything like music Gucci Mane makes. He is one of the hardest working artists as well as one of the best performers on the music scene. Even though he has been working hard since the late 1990’s by writing rhymes, there are still people that have not heard of 2010 Gucci Mane music. A lot of people are well behind the times and may actually overlook another unknown legend that continues to put out great music.
