How have recent developments cemented cricinfo as the online home of cricket
I have followed cricket since I was a young child this interest was developed due to my father being a massive fan of cricket , many summer days I have spent with my dad both watching cricket and also playing cricket for my local cricket team. Over the years as I have got older my interest
in cricket also developed, I have read many books about cricket but have also followed my teams latest news by using the Internet.
Although there are many sports websites on the Internet that give perfectly up-to-date and accurate news stories, if I am after purely cricket news there is only one website that I use and in my opinion is the best cricket dedicated website on the Internet. This website is cricinfo for all the years I have been on the Internet this website has remained the most concise and up-to-date website for cricket I have been able to find, in fact many other sports websites could do with following the model set by cricinfo as they would surely improve their users experience.
The other thing I have been able to enjoy as I have become older is the ability to go and watch live cricket, I am quite fortunate that the Edgbaston Cricket ground is only a short drive from my house this has enabled me to attend many cricket matches within recent years. Of course I am not always able to watch all of the games played at Edgbaston whether I am at work or have other commitments, this is where cricinfo helps me massively in order to be able to stay in touch with the latest cricket news. The main reason for this is as a result of its recent acquisition with ESPN, this acquisition has enabled cricinfo to show both live cricket games and highlights of that days games, the ability to do this in my opinion has made cricinfo the true online home for cricket.
