There is a recent study on the effects of lowering the levels of chlorine in your swimming pool chemicals has a positive effect on the air quality of an indoor pool by a research team in Denmark. This is just another excellent example of why it’s a good reason to adopt newer technology such as an Ionizer or Ozonator to keep your pool clean.
If you haven’t looked into replacing your old chlorine-only system to a newer system with fewer pool chemicals in the mix, take a look at the above article. This could just as easily apply to a person breathing in the air just above an above ground pool as well. Newer pool chemicals just make sense. And who wants to smell like chlorine!

As the weather heats up, more and more people are thinking about whether or not they will be able to take a vacation this year. The economy is tough right now and the thought of spending a couple of thousand dollars for a one week trip is probably putting a few folks off of the idea. One option that is being considered by many people is investing the vacation money into some type of home improvement that also has some entertainment value.
Some people go for big screen televisions or maybe something more mundane like a new driveway. I've been considering an above ground pool as an option. I've seen several listed for really low prices in my local classified ads and I know that I can get some help installing it since I have helped a few people when they put them up on their property. This is moving up my "good ideas" list in a hurry.
