If you have never purchased commercial bar stools, be sure to do your research in advance. This should be done with plenty of lead time, especially if you are purchasing large quantities of bar stools. Bar stools are manufactured by various companies in the USA and other parts of the world.
You may begin to notice that chair companies tend make copycat designs. Companies such as Ikea usually borrow design ideas from competitors. Do not automatically purchase the lowest priced chair, as the build quality can vary greatly from one manufacturer to another. One of the reasons for the big cost variance is the quality of materials which are used. Materials are one of the largest costs the chair makers, next to the physical labor costs 0f chair assembly.
Bar stool makers are found in various parts of the world, with a large number of commercial furniture makers based in China. The reason that China is a large source is the cost of labor is considerably less in comparison to the United States. Certain parts of the build process are automated (i.e. such as using automated welding robots), while other processes are performed by hand.
One of the best ways to compare bar stools is by picking them up. Heavier bar stools are usually sturdier with regards to physical construction. If you are looking for a solid chair, be sure you compare the actual weight of all your potential commercial bar stools. Heavier chairs will usually also have stronger weld joints.
Be sure to choose commercial bar stools with as few moving parts as possible. For example, you do not want to purchase chairs which are assembled using a large number of screws. Screws are not a good option for commercial bar stools. Over time, stools will loosen and come apart. If you do choose a model which uses screws, it is a good idea to purchase spare screws. Keep the spare bar stool screws in a handy location in case you lose screws. It is imperative that you replace any missing screws as soon as possible.
Delaying the replacement of missing screws can lead to premature bar stool failure. This is because the remaining screws will be under much more stress to compensate for the loss in rigidity in your commercial bar stool.

My friend of mine who has recently a new found freedom thanks to the fact that she has sold her flat. She has plans to take a sabbatical from work and travel for a few months before buying another place. She says she wants me to help her with her new place, but this time, she says, she wants less modern and more country kitchen style, maybe a leather bar stool, wooden stools, oak stools, kitchen bars made of oak or cherry, a series of saddle stools and chairs stools that will match the antique leather stools she’s going to pick up from her family cottage.
She says she wants to replace her ideas about kitchen dinettes and use bars stools instead. But thankfully I have a few months before she asks my advice about colors – although she’s already mentioned she won’t be going with any red. I guess I better start researching so I know exactly what I'm doing when the time comes.

There are limitless styles of stool available for anyone who is looking to spice up their kitchen on a budget. First thing you have to decide is whether you want backless version or a model with arms.
Backless bar stools are the most common and come on many styles that overlap the stools I discuss above and below. However, if you trying to decide on a backless stool versus one that has arms and a large back, you may first need to consider the space . For small kitchens and islands or counter usage, the best choice will be a backless style because they take up less space and are easy to get onto even in cramped quarters. They are also a classic stool design used in real bars and restaurants and therefore if you want a retro design will likely find a larger selection in backless barstool models.

You've really got to love kitchen counter stools, I mean what other piece of home furniture is so versatile, has so much abuse thrown at it yet manages to stay alive for decades with not even the slightest grumble. I suppose its their simplicity that is their greatest strength, a few pieces of solid wood knocked together and you have the finest seating instrument known to man.
Whether you want to rest your weary legs, enjoy a fine meal or converse with a group of good friends, there is something particularly comforting and homely about sitting on a high stool. If you don't already have a breakfast bar and set of high counter stools in your house I suggest you get the whole thing installed the next time your decorate, your family will love you for it.
