The choice of thread you use when stringing beads plays a big part in determining the feel of the product you end up with when your work is done. Not only that but it will also encourage you to go in a particular direct with the type of jewelry beads you use in the threading.

Silk is always a good choice because of its strength and the fact that it will last longer than cotton giving that it isn't so prone to rotting. Silk thread also comes in a variety of colors and thicknesses so you should be able to find something that will fit in with whatever jewelry design ideas you have in your head. When you get some experience under your belt you will have a natural cute jewelry making instinct for which type of beads will go with which thread to make the finest necklace, but to begin with you are just going to have to guess and use your natural flair.
