I am a big fan of Aeropostale fashions.  I know that they are one of the trendy are items that it seems like almost every girl is wearing today, but, what can I say, I like them.  I think that one of the overlooked values in the fashion market today is designer purses by Aeropostale.  Look, I understand that Aeropostale purses are not in the class of top name designer bags.  But I think they are an outstanding value for some very cool looking purses that hold up pretty well to normal use.  Personally, I would rather have a huge selection of these purses and handbags, than a 700 dollar purse that I would worry about scratching any time I actually decided to use it.  Of course, preferences will be different for each person.  Some people also don't really have any concern at all with the cost of an item.  For me though, I think these purses are a great way to look trendy and not spend a fortune.

I am somewhat of a collector of purses.  Nothing too formal, but when I see something I like, I buy it if I can afford it.  I have several coach bags just because I found a really good deal on eBay when a woman was selling off several of them.  My favorite though is a Brighton purse that I bought at a specialty store when I was visiting California.  Brighton purses are known for their high quality and for having a great warranty.  This last part means a lot for me for a purse or for any other product.  I prefer to only pay for something if I know it is being backed up by its maker.  Brighton purses do this and look good at the same time.  My next purchase that I'm saving up for is another Brighton to add to my collection.s

I was out looking for cheap purses for sale recently when it hit me that I was not enjoying my shopping experience the way I used to when I was younger.  I have taken to shopping online much more often of late and it seems that the experience of driving for an hour to deal with rude strangers has started to lose its appeal.  I have found that I am perfectly capable of finding great deals online and as long as I'm willing to wait two or three days for delivery, there is really no down side to the whole affair.  This is not to say that I am turning anti-social.  Perhaps it was just the day.  Regardless, I surprised myself when I realized how accustomed I had become to shopping from the comfort of my home for the fashions I desire.

You should always keep in mind the real value of what you are purchasing when you think you are getting away with a steal.  There are times that buying the cheapest possible item is fine, but sometimes, you should consider whether the loss in quality is really worth the "savings" you might see at first.

Designer purses are a good example of this philosophy in action.  There are some people who are perfectly happy buying cheap knockoff purses that will fall apart in a month.  Others would rather spend a small amount of time finding authentic designer purses at reasonable prices and know that they will have a great looking bag for years to come.  To me, the second method is the only one that makes any sense.  It is a personal decision, but long term value should always be considered if you are buying something for more than just the extreme short term.
