If there is one consistent complaint about hair it is that it just does not grow fast enough. There are many reasons for this, including health, diet and, of course, genetics.
On average, hair grows about a half an inch a month, more or less. Usually less for an average of about 5 inches a year. So if your hair reaches past your shoulders, those locks are about two years old. Two years of blow drying, flatironing, brushing, combing, curling, teasing, coloring, bleaching, shampooing, sunning. Basically, we're talking two years of non-stop abuse. Can you imagine? And if you're like many women (ok, me), you curse it while you're at it, too, for not looking good enough or growing fast enough.
So give your hair a break and try to treating it with more care - and that actually starts with treating yourself with more care. Sleeping more, eating better, reducing stress, getting exercise, all these will help you and your hair. Click here for more tips on how to make your hair grow faster.

There is currently a flood of eyelash growth serums and lash stimulator treatments on the market today. The latest of which is Latisse, a prescription eyelash growth conditioner that is FDA approved. Some of the other eyelash growth stimulators for sale do not require a prescription. These products are also effective in giving you longer looking eyelashes but at less than half the cost of a prescription drug. You should try one of these serums and see if the eyelash grower that works for you before settling for a more expensive drug that is slower working. To get a non prescription eyelash grower product, you should shop online. Shopping online means you can compare prices, read user reviews, and see buyer results before you commit to a product. That means you will be less likely to waste your money and be disappointed by a dud of a product that fails to live up to its claims.

Are you losing hair? Unless it's caused by an underlying medical problem, hair loss is a normal part of aging and usually not a serious problem. However, hair loss can be an embarassing problem especially when you're used to having a full head of hair, or worst yet, have previously been specifically admired for it. Unfortunately, there's not much one can do about hair loss. Hair growth products often don't work and wigs/toupees often look fake and pathetic. I say embrace baldness! Don't lose your hair little by little each month. Shave it all off in one fell swoop. Who knows? You may even look better bald. One thing is certain though. Hair loss isn't the end of the world. And surely baldness is preferably to being known for having the ultimate combover!
