The Mac OS X operating system is a fantastic development in how a computer runs. Many people out there have used a conventional PC running Microsoft Windows, and probably don't know anything other that it. First reactions with the OS X operating system are typically surprise and a little confusion. More often than not they begin to fall in love with the simplicity and common sense ways that many actions are performed. While it is different, OS X proves that being different can work...really well. The simply layout of the desktop, with the intelligent zoom bar, provide the optimum starting point. There is no need to have a multiple icons on your desktop for all your programs, as the programs are all easily accessible by a few clicks. This lack of clutter might not matter for many, but keeping things neat and organized does wonders for your mental state when using a notebook. Simple but effective, the Mac OS X operating system may just be a perfect way to run a notebook.
