To start making money online all you need is a computer, an internet connection and a blog. You can have a blog set up in minutes and it is free if you use Blogger or WordPress.com. Once you’re done setting up your site, you can start your marketing your site and adding Adsense or affiliate programs. It can be really easy way to make money online once you know how.

First, you have to attract people to your site. You can use any of the social networking programs such as Facebook or Twitter to drive people to your site or ask your friends to tell their friends about it too. However, you still need some good content to make people come to your site. I hate to admit this, but I'm desperate to find some quick ways to make money at home. You see, I have a daughter in College and she just started back this year. The first day of classes, she dropped her laptop down a flight of stairs and broke it. I'm a single mom and I saved up several summer months for that laptop. I need to learn legitimate ways to make money online. I've just been notified that my job will be eliminated in two months. I'm thankful that they at least gave me a notice before letting me go.  A lot of my friends and family members got no notice at all before they were let go. So now I decided to go into a new direction. I think the best way to obtian job security is to start your own business. So now I'm dedicated to finding a way to do this online. I've been on the Internet for many years now but I've never tried to start an online business on the Internet.  I'm not sure if I should try affiliate marketing or develop my own item and try to sell it.
