He starts to draw a conclusion or bunk bed is difficult because of the lack of quality control and labor used to assemble a lot of imported furniture. Many consumers have decided to concentrate on finding the American manufacturers who are able to customize to your liking and demonstrated history of building high-end. However, these same individuals are difficult to trace down the American manufacturers in a saturated market by imports. Import platform beds and bedroom furniture come away the container from its overseas plants in the United States. One of the biggest problems with the purchase of imported products in the fact that everything in the box, what you get. Often choose their own color or finish is not possible, and do not even think about trying to configure any of this furniture. People just have to buy it as they see it. Size is limited to the Queen and the King often with little attention paid to twin, full or elongated sizes. Maybe they have low windows, or perhaps a room with sloping ceiling, which requires a special design. Forget about it with the import of furniture, it will not work for the needs of the consumer.

Other issues plaguing the import of furniture quality control standards. Many companies, setting number of production abroad are finding that they can get big savings from hiring workers much lower wages offered here in the United States. However, the old adage you get what you pay for rings true, as is often hired labor has no experience whatsoever in woodworking, carpentry or wood, and it shows in the products that roll off the assembly line. Dowels or crosses made for short. Holes drilled in wrong or not deeply enough. Pieces cut too long or too short, so they do not match. The list goes on with the questions and apparent lack of quality control, which should be in place to catch these issues. These products prices are lower because of the lack of quality control and unskilled labor used in their manufacture. Some consumers find lower prices more attractive, but then complain about the many shortcomings and problems in their furniture, they find after purchasing it.

If carefully sifts through many different companies, you'll come to find that the quality of the construction planks can still be found in the American bedroom furniture. New England Region of the United States has a rich history of furniture production, which dates back to the colonial era in the 17 th century. European settlers brought with them the skills to build most of their furniture themselves after moving their furniture with them was not practical for the long haul just to get to the colony. This region continues to play an important role in American furniture. Vermont, in particular, has always been a strong furniture industry, which ranges from large companies that sell around the world for small, independent shops focusing on the Ultra High End Furniture for the bedroom. The platform bed designs, which have always been a strong European design is perfect for these companies and shops, they focus on methods handed down from generation to generation timber workers to develop both traditional and modern design sources from American hardwood and made American workers.

American wood-work wage selectively in accordance with their qualifications and experience in areas in which they specialize. These masters are well offset their trading skills, and that's why many leading companies are able to attract the best talent from these individuals. This in turn allows them to higher-end manufacturer of case goods and platform beds due to increased levels of skill are now available. Manufacturing facilities in the United States set standards for quality control, and to ensure the product is made by a particular method is often down to the millimeter. This eliminates parts, made the wrong size and catches problems before they happen, without giving the entire run of products come with defects. Thus one would expect to pay for quality construction and get it, as well as the high level of materials and designs that are applied to each bed and a good thing.

In conclusion a marketplace filled with overseas import bedroom products made in few sizes and styles with little opportunity to have them made any other way present poor alternatives in the bedroom. American made platform beds and bedroom furnishings offer a more appealing choice with more sizes, finishes, options and the ability to be customized makes them a far superior choice when it comes to picking out home bedroom furnishings. Better materials and construction are also found more often with American products than in overseas imports. American made platform beds and bedroom furnishings provide for better choices in quality and options.

The second type are the beds that are off of the ground and leaves a small space underneath the bed. You can store different items under your bed but it may be hard to get them out. The third type is the platform storage bed. These beds are normally lower than normal beds but they also have drawers for you to store your items. This can create more storage room without you having to take up any extra space by buying another piece of furniture. This is a convenient way to add something to your room without taking up space.

Platform Beds Gain In Popularity

When the first platform beds arrived on the scene in the 1980’s many experts felt they were simply created as a very cheap option for people who could not afford the traditional mattress, box spring, frame and headboard option.  But fast forward to today, and many platform beds are created with the ultimate comfort AND style kept in mind.  For many this unique bed design, along with an accompanying platform bed mattress, has become the primary sleeping arrangement in all bedrooms.

Since platform beds do not include a box spring of any kind, many different design and function options are available to consumers.  Many platform beds are designed in a minimalist style with a discreet frame that holds the bed a mere six inches off the floor and a very comfortable, yet dense, foam mattress on top.  This less pronounced bed design allows interior designers to create bed rooms with other features being prominent in them.
