When it comes to choose a table for your dining room, there are certain a lot of different choices that you have to choose from such as wooden tables, wicker, and even glass dining tables. Different tables will create a different look for your dining room. If you want to luxurious look, then the glass tables can be a great choice. Since these are see through, it will also make your dining room look a bit bigger as well. Of course, you may want to use mats on these to make sure they don't get scratched up. There is a glass table in every room I’ve peeked into. I consider this unusual, very high class for such an establishment. I’ve seen some of the residents—I don’t know them—having tea in the afternoon. The young maid brings it.  I know because I’ve seen her on the stairs carrying a tray.  Then she sets it on the glass table while she serves.

These fellow roomers don’t look too classy to me,certainly not classy enough to have tea in their rooms.

As I peek through open doors into the rooms, I see some that are prettier than others.  There is a lavender room with large windows opening onto a tropical garden.

There is one on the second floor, right at the landing, with big pink roses on the wallpaper. Certainly no man would want to have a room like this. But, of course, one doesn’t have a choice in a low-class place.

One night I heard some tiny noises coming from the back of the house. I listened for a while.  What was it? I decided to get out of my comfortable chair and check everything out. I would check the doors too. You never could tell in this city. Gladys is always teasing me about being a worry wart. Well, she’s the one who got arrested as a terrorist when she was coming back from Paris. She’s always telling me, “Loosen up, George.” Well, I think I am pretty loose. I was tiptoeing through the house when I discovered the source of the small noises. I hadn’t cleared stuff away after supper. What a sight! The glass top dining table was covered with little mice.  How cute! Gladys just didn’t know how loose I was. I had a pet white rat when I was a kid and I will never forget her. I always leave food out for the little mice that live inside my walls.

I wandered deeper and deeper into the forest. I was lost and I knew it. This was unfamiliar territory and I was beginning to wonder why I decided to come up here to this strange area. When I was driving up here, I could see in the distance a beautiful dense forested area. As I got closer I began to notice the many large flowering trees, something like the magnolia, but yet very different. The flowering trees, that's the reason I stopped and parked on a road hidden from the highway, and now I was wishing I had stayed close to the main road. The last time I’d been in the woods was when I was a girl scout, and then I was with a bunch of people. Well, I wasn’t going to panic. I pushed through some bushes and, there in a clearing was a small cafe. A round glass dining table
