The Hair Transplant For Women Procedure
Women can now get hair implants even though they may be suffering from thinning hair along with the female pattern baldness. In the past this fact stopped many women from having the hair implantation surgery because there was not a good donor area with thick hair growth anywhere on the scalp. The standard hair transplantation procedure required a section of the scalp skin to have hair growth so the section could be removed and the hair follicles extracted for insertion into the skin.
The new hair transplant for women procedure allows for the removal of individual hair follicles directly from the skin. This means a surgeon can remove the hairs form all over the scalp instead of from just one area. It also allows for the donation of hair units from other areas of the body besides just the head.
